Center for Forest and Climate Change is an organization specializes in designing and implementing forestry solutions to combat climate change while creating sustainable livelihoods for communities across Africa and beyond. Our Story
Founded in 2015 by a team of forestry experts, climate scientists, and community development practitioners, CFCC emerged from a recognition that forest conservation and community development must work together. Our founders witnessed firsthand how top-down conservation efforts often failed when communities were excluded, and how development projects succeeded when they worked with natural ecosystems rather than against them.
